In this special session of Writing Medicine, you will hear directly from the editor of JAMA Internal Medicine’s popular Viewpoints column, Dr. Eve Rittenberg. She will share best practices for submitting personal and opinion pieces that are most likely to be published, as well as her advice on submitting creative work to leading medical journals in general. As in all other Writing Medicine sessions, you will be able to write in response to prompts, share your work with your peers if you so choose, and ask questions of Laurel and our visiting guest star, Dr. Rittenberg.
